Welcome to the AIMG website! The American Isopod and Myriapod Group (AIMG) aims to enable accurate identifications, publish distribution information, and conduct research on both the Isopoda and Myriapoda of North and Central America. This is promoted through social media and its website, the online newsletter, journal, study notes, bulletin, and field meetings, which are open to anyone and everyone. The website is currently in its infancy; however, you will already find three peer-reviewed publications in the Study Notes of 2022, a detailed isopod guide down to family level in the Taxonomic Guide to Isopods of North America, and information on the color genetics of Isopoda specifically Porcellio scaber in Color Morphs. If you would like to engage with other group members or contribute your knowledge and skills to the AIMG join our discord; for more information, view the Contact Us page. This website is best viewed on a computer.
